Dear mountain film community,

here we go – the mountain film is calling!
After its big anniversary last year, the 21st International Mountain Film Festival Tegernsee will once again be presenting interesting and exciting film contributions from October 16th to 20th. There is great interest from filmmakers from all over the world in Germany’s only open mountain film competition. 256 films were submitted to the festival from 26 countries.

This means that the range of films on offer for festival visitors is multifaceted and exciting – from sport to life in and with the mountains.

The program will be published at the end of August. Advance ticket sales start on September 13th.

Awards Ceremony 2023

The highlight of every film festival is when the winners are announced. Not everyone has the possibility to be in the theatre at the awards-presentation. Bayerischer Rundfunk, the festival’s sponsor, recorded the award ceremony.
